Retraction and Correction

Analitika: Journal of Management and Business is committed to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and credibility of the scholarly record. This policy outlines the procedures for corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern in accordance with best practices in academic publishing.

1. Purpose of the Policy

This policy aims to:

  • Ensure transparency and accountability in the publication process.

  • Correct errors that may affect the interpretation or reliability of published articles.

  • Uphold ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

2. Corrections (Erratum and Corrigendum)

A correction is issued when an article contains errors that do not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions of the work.

a. Erratum

An erratum is published to correct errors introduced during the editorial or production process, such as:

  • Typographical errors affecting meaning

  • Errors in author affiliation

  • Formatting or layout mistakes

b. Corrigendum

A corrigendum is published when the author(s) identify errors originating from the manuscript, including:

  • Minor data errors

  • Incorrect references

  • Errors in tables or figures that do not alter the main conclusions

All corrections will be clearly linked to the original article and will include a description of the changes made.

3. Retraction

An article will be retracted if its findings are found to be unreliable due to serious ethical or scientific issues, including but not limited to:

  • Plagiarism

  • Data fabrication or falsification

  • Duplicate or redundant publication

  • Serious methodological errors invalidating conclusions

  • Unethical research practices

Retractions may be initiated by the author(s), editor, publisher, or institution. A retraction notice will:

  • Clearly identify the retracted article

  • State the reason(s) for retraction

  • Be linked to the original article

  • Remain permanently accessible

The retracted article will remain available on the journal website with a clear watermark or notice indicating its retracted status, in order to maintain the scholarly record.

4. Expression of Concern

An expression of concern may be issued when:

  • There is inconclusive evidence of research or publication misconduct

  • An investigation is ongoing and a final decision has not yet been reached

This notice will inform readers of potential issues while investigations are conducted.

5. Investigation Process

  • All allegations of error or misconduct will be handled confidentially and fairly.

  • The editorial board will conduct an initial assessment and, if necessary, request explanations or evidence from the author(s).

  • The journal may consult reviewers, subject experts, or relevant institutions during the investigation.

6. Author Responsibilities

Authors are expected to:

  • Promptly inform the editor of any significant errors discovered after publication.
