About the Journal

LEADER: Local Economic Advancement & Development Research is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and empirical studies with a primary focus on local and regional development economics. The journal adopts an analytical, policy-oriented, and empirical approach to examine regional economic development dynamics, particularly within the context of developing countries.

The journal aims to advance scientific knowledge and policy-relevant insights concerning subnational economic development by addressing structural challenges, institutional capacities, and transformational processes that shape local and regional economic performance.
