Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to LEADER undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Throughout the review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objectivity, impartiality, and academic integrity.

Reviewer recommendations constitute the primary basis for editorial decisions. The standard review period is three weeks, and reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, publication record, and professional affiliations. Editorial decisions are made based on the reviewers’ reports and may fall into one of the following categories:

  • Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted without revision.

  • Minor Revision Required: The manuscript is accepted subject to minor revisions.

  • Resubmit for Review: Substantial revisions are required, and the manuscript will undergo a second round of peer review.

  • Rejection: The manuscript is not accepted for publication.

If the editor or reviewers determine that a manuscript is unsuitable for publication following the initial evaluation, an official statement outlining the reasons for rejection will be communicated to the author after the submission date and completion of the pre-evaluation stage.

Manuscript Revision

Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted to the Editorial Office within the specified deadline. Authors are required to upload revised files through the Online Submission Interface under the “Upload Author Version” section within the Review Task window.

Revised submissions must include at least:

  2. Responses to Reviewers’ Comments, provided directly below each reviewer’s comment within the manuscript file.
